It is a healing, spiritual sanctuary for your heart and soul. Built in the California Spanish Mission Style with original tile floors, arched doorways, and original Art Deco bathrooms, the Palace is also a very unique mansion due to the design and artistic additions that Elizabeth and her family have made over the 25 years that this has been their home.
The Palace has Mythological, Mystical Art, a Mermaid Bar, gorgeous, expansive views of the ocean to the west, an eat in kitchen, a sunken living room with fireplace and a large garden sanctuary with a peaceful water feature and an abundance of flora and winged friends. It is sunny, bright, clean & comfortable still retaining an atmosphere of old world European charm.
Internet: There are two wi-fi networks available throughout the home for the convenience of the guests.
Location: The Palace is located in a very central neighborhood near the University of San Francisco. It is a 1 to 2 block walk to MUNI lines and easy to take public transportation to any area of the city.
Parking: The street parking is fairly easy for SF as there is all day parking across the street.
The Palace is located on a double plus size lot and is very large and spacious for a SF home. The main house features Elizabeth’s gorgeous, spiritual art that celebrates the Divine Feminine. Elizabeth is an amazing, welcoming and gracious hostess! It is an unforgettable experience to stay with her. Her home is like a museum!!
Because the home is so large it is easy to have private time as well as time with Elizabeth’s friendly family if desired. Elizabeth and her family are happy to have their guests enjoy the gorgeous views and sunsets from the deck or sit in the peaceful garden or enjoy any of the other public areas of the home including the kitchen, family room, Mermaid Bar, dining room or living room.
The garden is a lovely place to meditate on a sunny day.
There are two rooms available for guests and a large, spacious studio apartment with a separate entryway for those who want more privacy or a longer stay.
The downstairs room has a comfortable single bed on a platform as well as a desk and a nice size closet. The window onto the back looks out on a “lover’s fountain” that is lit at night. It has a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. An extra mattress can be put on the floor to accommodate an additional person. This bedroom is great for one person or a couple or two friends. The bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed and a corner bamboo desk with gorgeous, sweeping views of the ocean to the west. It also has a private bathroom right next to it with a shower/tub combo. It has ample closet and drawer space for those who might enjoy a longer stay or might enjoy some great shopping in SF. The apartment is a spacious studio with a separate eating area and living room area that looks out onto the gorgeous garden. It is very quiet, has a fully equipped kitchen, separate entry and washer/dryer in the bathroom. It is sunny and bright during the day and has separate heat and a separate hot water heater from the main house. The guests can easily control the temperature with the manual thermostat. It has cable t.v. and the wi-fi network from the main house works well in the apartment. The mattress is new and has the added luxury of a pillow top while still offering firm support. It is in a safe, residential neighborhood near USF and within walking distance to the famous Haight-Ashbury district. It is easy to get anywhere in San Francisco on public transportation from this very central location. It is just a few blocks from Golden Gate Park and a fifteen minute walk to the DeYoung Museum and the California Academy of Sciences or the Japanese Tea Garden. It is also very close to Clement St. where there is has an array of fabulous and inexpensive restaurants. It is walking distance to Laurel Village which has cafe’s, restaurants, beauty supply stores, banks, grocery stores, Starbucks, Walgreen’s (local pharmacy), bookstore, clothing stores and Beautiful, a cafe that has great organic take out food. It is walking distance to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Target. It is also walking distance to the Presidio and about a 20-30 minute bus ride to Union Square, downtown.
In addition to being a visionary artist and teacher Elizabeth is a world traveler and certified energy healer who has trained with Christie Marie Sheldon. She understands the importance of adding special touches for her guests and she also clears the energy daily on her home and clears the energy in each room before guests check in. She works with the angelic realm to add extra blessings and healing energy to her home and infuses all of her art with healing energy. Many guests have commented on how well they sleep and how peaceful and relaxed they feel in her home.
Elizabeth and her family were honored to host over 100 guests in 2013 including guests from her artist’s community known as Cosmic Cowgirls.
